Mr. Smith brings significant experience in overseeing operations, quality programs, safety programs, performance management, and asset management. He is a Chief Engineer with unlimited horsepower and unlimited tonnage.

Prior to joining Quality-Crete, he served as Chief Engineer for one of the largest cement providers in the country. During his tenure, he was responsible for reducing asset down time to maximize production while working in a safe environment. Limited resources made it critical to think ahead and outside the box to problem solve. He led the successful implementation of new systems, programs, and processes which strengthened the assets of the business and extended life cycles.

Since 2001, Mr. Smith has gained over 20 + years of hands-on mechanical experience. His background includes working on anchor handling vessels, articulating tugs and barges, wire boats in Alaska with tandem twos, cutter head dredges, supply boats, and jacked up oil rigs to name a few.
